Research for Game

     My game is going to be about childrens nutrition. I think this is important because many Americans today do not eat healthy. They wold rather eat at a McDonald's or Wendy's instead of as healthier home made meal. I believe that if you teach children good habits at an early age these will stick with them for a life time, leading to a healther life. Games!

     One of my favorite games on the Wiki page is Gravitee. It is a game that teaches the pull of gravity on objects by playing golf. The link to this game is http://www.kongregate.com/games/FunkyPear/gravitee.

My Game Genre

     My favorite game genre is sports. I like sports because I think sports games are the most fun. I believe that others will learn more if they play a game they enjoy than one they don't. I play sports too and that's another reason why I like this genre.

Internet Privacy

     It is important to keep your privacy on the internet because you never know who is looking at your information. For all you know some terrorist may be looking at your page and get your adress and come and kill you. This is very unlikely though. More common is that someone will find out who you are and harass you, but you never know what will happen. So being safe is a important thing to do.

Globalaria

     This year is my first year in the Globalaria class. I'm hopefull to learn how to make games in the course. I have aleady learned how to code in HTML and that was a little confusing. This has me scared about making the game. I hope that that will come easier than editing the blog and having to have everything in HTML code. The blog was easy to set up. I'm still a little confused about how everything works on it, but I know getting better will come with time. Overall, I hope this year in Globalaria will be a good learning experience.

My Wiki

     I found the school wiki difficult to use. This was mostly because I have never had any experience with a wiki before. The HTML coding also made this a little complicated because the text and backgrounds wouldn't work properly sometimes. The avatar pictire also game me some difficulties. I couldn't find where to upload the picture to.

     After I learned how to use the wiki, it because a lot easier. The HTML coding issues were usually just a mistake in the spelling of the codes. Also, after I found the avatar picture link, that made it very easy to get the picture where I wanted it. But overall, this was a good learning experience.
